Suite was new-fashioned and big size had hypoallergenic pillows. Essentials that you need, such as climate control, a sofa bed, and an iron, were there. The hotel's location was good and incredible down into restaurant. Further, it was next to the village centre, all other sights in Vila Vicosa and the castle, the town's main attractions.

Beautifully decorated and modern hotel located in the heart of Vila Vicosa. Well decorated rooms though with a very interesting modern decoration and the location is magnificent! Bonus point for central heating, cable programming, and a writing desk.

The hotel was wonderful and they gave us a suite for room price. The room was excellent, staff helpful and spoke some English. The Ducal Palace and wine region are worth the visit. When we booked we thought it was very close to Evora because the map with the site showed it at the edge of town. It is 50 K from Evora. Please fix your map.

It was not in the town we thought we were going to. The hotel is excellent in every way.

I recently stayed at Solar Dos Mascarenhas for two nights during my visit to Vila Vicosa. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The suite overlooking the pool was spacious and had a comfortable seating area and nice balconies. The 4 poster bed was incredibly comfortable and the music in all the rooms created a lovely atmosphere. Street parking near the hotel was convenient and the location was perfect, with good restaurants, the palace and castle just a short stroll away. The staff, especially the lady running the breakfast room, were incredibly friendly and the breakfast selection was excellent. I had a wonderful experience at Solar Dos Mascarenhas.

My room was comfortable, modern, and wonderful. - the staff was attentive and extraordinarily friendly. - the location was favorable and right by an old manor house adapted in Borba, Évora, and Estremoz. - I enjoyed visiting Cafe Restauracao for some pastries, located a 10-15 minute walk from the property.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The staff went above and beyond by providing two extra beds for our kids without any additional charges. The suite was incredibly nice, and the hotel's atmosphere was super cool, especially since it is a recently rebuilt old building. The staff's kind and friendly attitude made our experience even better. The breakfast was jaw-droppingly good with a wide variety of high-quality options. The hotel's location was also amazing, just a stone's throw away from the palace. We loved everything about our time here, from the spacious room to the delicious breakfast. The attention to detail in the decor and furniture was fantastic, and the presentation of the breakfast was simply sublime. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The only downside was that we didn't stay longer!

Location. kindness of cleaning lady

It was a nice hotel until 1-2 years ago. now it has a problem of employees and maintenance. unfriendly mature woman at the reception. breaksfast disappointing. humidity stigmas on the walls of the room. air conditionning not working. the mini-swimming pool coul be more clean. loud music from a sort of bar-disco in front of the entrance.

The hotel location is excellent, clean, and comfortable. Wifi is reliable and easy to access. The property is nice with spacious rooms. Ample parking available. Great central location for exploring the town. Wonderful breakfast with delicious cured meat. Beautiful swimming pool. Attentive and kind service staff.
